The band Palpitate was formed at the end of the summer 2018, when after some time of fasting guitarist Milan Skřivánek and bassist Tomáš Holý from the former band Shockwave, which before the break-up also performed at Basinfirefest festivals or two years in a row at Masters of Rock, came together.
At that time, the stagnant drummer Jan Eliáš also joined these two members. In this line-up, during 2020 several concerts were played and the EP Palpitate with five songs was released. A fourth member, guitarist Martin Švestka, joined the current line-up.
By the end of 2023 a single with the video "Fucker" was released and currently you can listen and watch, again single with the video "Hypocrite".
René Šalamoun is taking his place behind the drums.
